WE LEAD AND SERVE

The University of the Philippines Alumni Association of San Francisco, Inc. (UPAASF) incorporated in July 1973 in Daly City, California serves as the premier lead for organized activity of the University of the Philippines alumni circle in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Over the years it has supported the University in raising funds for significant projects and has been robust in its mission towards community involvement and the sustainability of Filipino values and cultural traditions through its Annual Filipino Cultural Immersion Camp, Members mixers, webinars, golf tournaments, and other community projects.

The Officers and Board of Directors of UPAASF are the engine of various committees which include Membership, Philanthropy, Filipino Heritage, Community Engagement, Fundraising, Disaster Relief, Scholarships, Mentoring and Communications.

We respond, as a group or as individuals, to calls for collaboration for the broader aspect of the community-building in the Bay Area, or relief assistance to the people of the Philippines affected by natural disasters and philanthropic programs in various UP alumni chapters in the Philippines.

Alumni Engagement

We bind the alumni into a united fellowship working together in providing organized alumni assistance to the University in the fulfillment of its mission as an academic institution.

University Support

We assist the University as it continues its role as the leading center of learning and research in the Philippines. We make this possible through partnership, exchanges and linkages between the University and leading California Colleges and Universities.

Promotion of Philippine Culture

We initiate, sponsor and participate in cultural programs and activities. We foster socio-cultural development and interaction between the Association and the San Francisco Bay Area community.

Member Assistance

We provide social, civic and career networking for alumni residing in San Francisco Bay Area.
