December 2006 - UPAASF Completes Payment of its Donation Pledges
The visit of UPAASF Past President and current UPAAA President Ted Aquino to the Philippines from late December to early January was an occasion for the UPAASF to complete its pledges of donations for the UP Infirmary rehabilitation project, the UP Carillon Bells Restoration project and the UPLB Typhoon Milenyo Rehabilitation Fund. Ted Aquino personally delivered the checks completing the payment for the $2,000 pledge to the UPLB Typhoon Milenyo Fund and another $2,000 pledge to the UP Carillon Bells restoration project. He also verified the receipt by the UP Foundation of the $2,300 bank transmittal to complete the UPAASF pledge of $10,000 to help fund the acquisition of a new blood analysis lab for the UP Infirmary.
