Letty Quizon is an accomplished communications, marketing, and management professional. She has successfully led organizations and teams in creating and implementing strategic marketing and development plans for both business and nonprofit sectors. She has extensive experience in partnering and collaborating with businesses and funders to start and scale up projects and organizations. She is a sound strategic thinker with a creative mind and a business-oriented mindset.
Her marketing communications, account management, and advertising experience includes her former role as Creative Director for multinational ad agencies, McCann Worldwide and Ogilvy; as Account Director for OneWorld Communications; and as Chief Development and Marketing Strategist for The Marketing Edge, Inc. She has well-rounded expertise in all aspects of marketing including advertising, direct marketing, social media, strategic planning, public relations, cause marketing, multicultural marketing, and global marketing.
Her nonprofit management expertise includes fund development, major and individual donor cultivation, donor relations and retention, grant writing and management, and board development. She served as a consultant to international philanthropic organizations to help them grow and become more financially and operationally sustainable through comprehensive, results-driven strategic development plans. Her nonprofit focus is helping disadvantaged families and empowering underprivileged children to increase their chances for success in life through better access to education.
Letty holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Communications from the University of the Philippines and an MBA degree from Saint Mary’s College in California. She is currently Director of Marketing and Communications at CocoKids Inc. (formerly the Contra Costa Child Care Council.) She is also an adjunct professor of International Marketing at the Ageno Graduate School of Business at the Golden Gate University in San Francisco and at the School of Economics and Business Administration at Saint Mary's College of California.
